Frequently asked questions
Why don’t you sell mats with the cross?
According to clergy guidance, Church tradition, and canon law, the holy cross should not be placed on the floor or on items that are stepped on or knelt upon. Because prayer mats are used in this way, cross designs are not appropriate. For this reason, our mats no longer include the cross, out of reverence for the faith and respect for what is holy.
Are these mats suitable for all Christians?
Yes, while inspired by Orthodox tradition, ApostolicMats are made for all Christians who value reverence, peace, and intentional prayer.
